About Fred Ahrens

I am now retired from an aerospace engineering career of past 39 years.

I enjoy personal pursuits in data science, modeling and simulation applied to home brewing, home finance, investment, recreational GPS tracking and studies in economics. I continue research in probabilistic risk analysis, designs of experiments, response surface analysis, and visual analytics.

I tutor college and graduate students in statistics, econometrics, calculus 1-3, differential equations, quantitative methods in management, business analytics and operations research.
